Kristian Adam was born 1978 in Edmonton, Alberta, and was raised on a large acreage outside the city of Grand Prairie. This cold and barren Northern landscape forced the artist to escape to his studio where he spent most of his time either drawing or painting. Adam is self-taught in nearly every form of medium. He has spent most of his life in pursuit of artistic techniques through trial and error. He has two entirely unique bodies of work which function mutually: one represents his adult ego and one his child. He currently resides in Vancouver, BC where he exhibits his work both locally and internationally. His award winning paintings have been seen and reviewed in television, magazines, and newspapers.
